My client, one of Europe's premier industrial demolition and dismantling contractors is looking to expand its safety team and has the following opportunity for a SHEQ Manager.

Reporting directly to the SHEQ Compliance Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the integrated reporting system and documentation composition. The candidate will have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Write and or review Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Help write or review CDM documentation
• Conduct various visits and audits of each project
• Conduct onsite training
• Create safety communication posters and alerts
• Attend client meeting

Candidate requirements

The role requires a self-motivated, confident communicator with good English language written skills. The candidate must have:

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent
• TechIOSH level membership
• A minimum of 5 years in Health and Safety
• Construction (or demolition) experience
• Current thorough knowledge of CDM regulations
• Excellent verbal and written English language

The ideal candidate will have

• Working towards CMIOSH
• Proven experience in construction and/or demolition project work
• Experience of authoring CDM documentation
• Good IT skills
